The word ideology is defined as the Science of ideas or system of ideas, especially concerning social and political life. According to Chamber’s Twentieth Century Dictionary the word ideology means the science of ideas, metaphysics, abstract speculation, visionary speculation, a body of ideas, and way of thinking.
Ideology is the system of ideas which are defined, verified and explained as regards to the idea of the state. It is a body of doetrine, myth and symaol of social movement, institution, class or large group accepted uncritically ane unquestionably.
As such ideologies are not intellectually articulated. An ideology works at the group level and varies from group to group. Ideology is anything kept before us in constant view as our ideal. It means people’s ideals, objectives or targets.
