Thirteen Military Personnel Killed In Upper Dir

The Pakistani military has confirmed that the killing of soldiers in Afghan border yesterday in Upper Dir. Militants involved in attacks on military personnel killed thirteen and four are still missing.

A Pakistani military officer said last night more than 100 militants from Afghanistan into Pakistani territory to patrol on the Pakistani security forces clashed with a team that killed six security personnel fourteen militants were also killed.

The Pakistani army officer, killed eleven security personnel were missing in about seven of them said they were killed and their heads were separated from the body.

According to military officials after the incident late Monday morning to twelve o’clock near the lower border of the area, two rockets fired by militants in Pakistan. Military officials said Pakistani troops across the border from the Afghan army’s protests, he said sheltered militants in Afghanistan are taking action.
