TTP Doesn’t Want To Implement Shariah Forcefully: Imran Khan

Imran khanIslamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) conferences proved that the Taliban do not want to impose sharia law by force. But they only demanded to withdraw war from the U.S.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Imran Khan indicated that he had been saying the same thing for the past ten years. He said that the negotiations with the Taliban are succeeded because we come to know that who want peace in the country and who are playing in the hands of our enemies. The government committee met the TTP Political Shura in a tribal area on March 26 and decided to continue peace talks.

Chairman of PTI further said that “May God continues a ceasefire between the two sides, the negotiations move towards to a complete success and peace in the country grow rapidly so that Pakistan can progress”. Ceasefire should carry on and the non-combatants women, children and the elderly should be released, Imran Khan added.

The TTP have claimed the release of women and children of TTP members suspected in the custody of security agencies and this was one of the central subjects of conversation during the meeting between the government mediators and TTP Shura.

Imran Khan added that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League (N) have consented on the matter of corruption. NAB chairman should be impartial and fair, not to be supposed himself as the head of the two parties. Imran Khan believed that if we over come on corruption, our country will lead to a success.
