With respect to the information of Sohrab Goth DSP Qamar Ahmed, Azeem Mehsud and Munawwar Mehsud belonged to a gang of 50 members who have been engaged in different types of terror activities. Dawood Mehsud and Hakimullah Mehsud are the sons of Azeem Mehsud, ex-chief of the Karachi TTP and personal guard of ex-TTP supremo respectively. Arrested suspect were engaged in the attack of residency of late SSP Chaudhary Aslam as well as they were also identified in various terror incidents and target killings, DSP Qamar Ahmed added. He further told that money, weapons and explosives have been recovered from the militant suspects.
