Umar Amin Supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf

Pakistan Test batsman Umar Amin is supporting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in the upcoming general elections. Umar Amin showed his support for Imran Khan led PTI on his official twitter account when he tweeted in favor of PTI.

The 23-year-old Umar who has played four Test Match and thee One Day Internationals (ODIs) tweeted that he always hated politics but now he is running PTI election campaign in Rawalpindi.

Umar Amin was born in Rawalpindi in October, 1989. He has scored 4569 runs in 72 first class matches and 2020 runs in 65 limited over matches. Umar has yet to score half-century in seven international matches he had played till now.

Pakistan star cricketer Shahid Afridi was also present in Peshawar where he announced to support an independent candidate who is contesting from NA-46. There are also reports that Shahid Afridi will be present in Tehreek-e-Insaf Jalsa in Karachi on 1st May.
