Uncertainty Of Crops

Ninety percent land under cultivation depends on natural rain for its irrigation therefore; the element of uncertainty is also higher because the natural conditions are beyond the human control. Water and power generation sectors are the victims of bureaucratic corruption wasting the available resources.

The crops do not have water when it is required and so they are damaged and do not give the production as they should have if water could have made available at the proper time.

Apart from these, locust invasion, water logging and salinity, floods, insects and pasts and soil erosion etc. are other factors which make the agriculture crops uncertain. The farmer does not remain engaged in the agriculture activities for whole of the year.
