Valentine Day Turns Terrible in Pakistani Colleges and Universities

Faisalabad, Peshawar: Once again Pakistani Nation has been divided on Celebrating Valentine Day. Pro-Valentine and and-Valentine Groups organized campaigns to promote their idea. Despite this verbal war, couples of serious clashes and fights were also reported from all around the Pakistan.

There is common perception that Secular and Moderate Groups are celebrating this day and Media is also promoting it. On other hand, Religious and Middle Class are opposing this day.

Couple of major Conflict regarding this day which were highlighted on media are as follows.

Scene 1: Clash in Peshawar University:

A massive clash has reported in Peshawar University between Two Students Unions. Almost 3 students injured and 13 arrested from University. According to AwamiPolitics Correspondent, Pukhtoon Student Federation was Celebration “Valentine Day” while Islami Jamiat Taulba was observing “Haya Day”.

Some awkward scenes happened in different Colleges of Faisalabad Where dozens of Boys arrested from outside colleges. According to Details, Many Private College principals phoned police and told them that dozens of boys are standing outside their colleges. These Boys were wearing Red Suit and also holding Roses to propose girls but Police spoiled their planning.

Many boys were also standing outside Government Madina Town College but College principal called police. Police arrested dozens of boys from all over Faisalabad who were standing outside Educational institutes. Similar Cases Were reported from many cities of Pakistan where youth used wrong means on this day.

On Social Media, Majority of Pakistanis are sharing Anti-Valentine Day Posts. A Religious Group is also observing this day as Haya Day. It’s also a fact that record sales of red flowers, Chocolates and other gift items have been recorded in many cities.
