We Are Recognized As ‘Charity-Seeking’ Country: Imran Khan

imran khan christmasKarachi: Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Khan has said that we as a nation as known as charity seeking country. If we unite together as a nation, then there would be no further need of asking seeking foreign aid. Imran Khan expressed these views while addressing the occasion organized in relation to Christmas celebration. ‘I stepped in politics to save the country and its people form corrupt politicians who make peoples’ life miserable’.

Imran said that segment of politicians are engaged in affecting people. There is no one who could raise voice against the suppression and wrong doing, he said. The PTI leader said that when I stepped forward to help people to get rid of the menace, I was labeled as Jewish Lobby. However, such labels did not affect me, instead I remained as I was before’, stated Imran Khan.

Imran Khan expressed the desire to enforce merit system in the country. He stated that every politician calls himself friend of the poor and deprived. However, the reality presents a contradictory picture. The poor class is being more deprived of their due rights. Hence, a proper merit system shall be observed in the State, where the people be hired irrespective of any personal of political interest and influence’, said the PTI Chief.

Imran Khan stressed that through dialogues, peaceful negotiations, with the militant Taliban objectives can be achieved. Terrorism has highly affected the whole country, especially, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). He said that if we work towards progress, then much can be attained.’ It is through proper analysis that we reached to the conclusion of negotiating with Taliban through peace talks rather than the army operation against them. But the government does not seem to be serious in considering our proposition, said the KPK governing party leader.

He further stressed that unity amongst us a nation can fortify to advance our interests, thereby preventing us from begging and relying on foreign aid for well being.
