We Can’t Ban Jamat Ud Dawah: Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain

Jamat Ud DawahFederal Minister for defense production Rana Tanveer Hussain said that we cannot ban Jamat Ud Dawah without any reason as government has not any proof against this organization. He further said that JUD is not a terrorist group as it is known as charitable organization. Rana Tanveer Hussain passed his comments at that time when several channels started to say that several terrorists groups including the JuD and the Haqqani network can bandit by government.

While addressing to a meeting from Ali Portaba, Rana Tanveer Hussain also said that there is no link between JUD and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) which is banned in Pakistan due to being terrorist organization. He further said that Hafiz Saeed who is the head of JUD has complete right to protest against for calling their organization as terrorist group as his organization is fully involved in preaching Islam. After Peshawar incident, government is fully observing banned organizations but it is not right to point every Islamic organization, Rana Tanveer added.

Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said while commenting over 21st Constitutional Amendment that, it is necessary to bring the laws for settlement of cases of ordinary cases with the help of Constitutional Amendment because military courts are not a part of the dictatorship but have been made for the assistance and help of democratic government.
