Democracy is a type of Government in which people elect their representatives by election on the basis of Adult Franchise on one man one vote basis. The candidates who secure majority of votes or the political party which grabs majority of the public votes becomes entitled to from the Government.
We find such democracy in USA, UK and to some extent in all the European countries. However in the Third world Countries where the people have low rate of literacy and political consciousness the so called democracies are dummy and not real. According to former U.S. President Abraham Lincoln Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people.
