Who Is Brahamdagh Bugti? Brief Profile

Brahamdagh BugtiBrahamdagh Bugti is the name of leader of Balochistan who is also known as founding chief of Baloch Republican Party. Baloch Republican Party was formed by Bugti after separation from Jamhoori Wataan Party which was formed by his own grandfather Akbar Bugti. Brahamdagh Bugti is the son of Nawabzada Rehan Bugti and a grandson of Akbar Bughti and grown up under his grandfather Akbar Bughti as his father died after some years of his birth.

The 34-years old Baloch leader has also gone into exile in a military operation during 2006 in Tratani which is neighboring area of Kohlu Balochistan. Bugti also blamed Pakistani intelligence agencies for attacking on him in Kabul, Afghanistan. On the other hand, Asma Jahangir who is known as famous Anti-Pakistani activist claimed that Brahumdagh Bugti was serving on Anti-Pakistan Agenda in order to separate Balochistan from Pakistan with the help of RAW (Indian Intelligence Agency). She further alleged that Pakistani establishment wanted Brahumdagh Bugti after the murders of Nawab Akbar Bugti and Balach Marri who were Separate Baloch Country leaders in order to save Balochistan from the separation.

However, Government of Pakistan has also sought return for Brahamdagh from Afghanistan as well as also accused India for supporting Baloch rebels who are living in Afghanistan. [alert style=”white”] Bugti is also accused for holding Indian passport as well as also blamed to be funded by RAW in order to separate Balochistan. [/alert]

Recently, chief of Baloch Republican Party claimed in an interview that he wants to talk with the government on the issue of Balochistan. He further said that if our friends, political parties and people want us to live in Pakistan then we have no issue as we want to solve all matters in a peaceful manner. It is pertinent to mention that Brahamdagh Bugti always denied to negotiate with government and remained with his demand independent Balochistan.

Moreover,Bugti told that Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan is all set to meet him with the aim to solve issues politically. During an interview Bugti was also asked to be funded by India, at which he replied that “I will not reject it, as it common to ask these types of questions by people in order to defend themselves.

It is worth mentioning here that Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has appreciated the Bugti’s positive step of negotiation with government by saying that negotiation will lead towards renewal of routine in the province.
