Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi acting chief Muzaffar Hashmi on Tuesday sapling a tree on the occasion of World Plantation Day at Idara-e-Noor Haq. General Secretary JI Karachi Abdul Wahab, Information Secretary JI Karachi Zahid Askari, Naib Ameer Rashid Qureshi and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the occasion, acting JI Chief said that the entire world was a gift of God for human beings and its safety was a prime responsibility of every individual. Muzaffar Hashmi further said that the sapling of trees will produce fruitful results for us, as we can get precious natural reserves by plantation of different trees and they will also help to make the environment fresh and healthy.
On the occasion, he expressed his deep concerns over the rising threat of pollution and exhaling of chemicals from transport and factories which make the environment and atmosphere toxic for upcoming generation.
