Years Required To End Load-Shedding: Khawaja Asif

Islamabad: Federal Minister for water and power Khawaja Asif has clarified PML-N stance over load-shedding ending tenure.  He indirectly blamed last two federal governments for Load shedding crisis. Load-Shedding is garbage of last 14 years policies and it couldn’t resolve within days, weeks or even months, Khawaja said. Talking to media persons in Islamabad, Khawaja Asif tried to avoid dead line to end load-shedding but finally he did.

Previously Nawaz Sharif clarified Shahbaz Sharif’s Promise with Nation on Load-shedding. Before election, PML-N leaders were boldly giving statements to end load-shedding within 2-3 years but now they are giving vague statements on this serious issue.

Khawaja Asif said that load-shedding may end within a year but he also mentioned some main hurdles. He said Corruption culture developed in last 12-13 years and we will demolish it. He also said that we don’t want to give any unrealistic statements and we will not make false promises with nation.
