Pakistan Richest Political Party Is PPP & MQM – Let’s Find Out How

Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan issued the income list of all political parties. The incomes are categorized on basis of expenditure, deposits, assets, and bank balance statements.

In the statement of Election Commission of Pakistan MQM appears to be the richest party  of the country in term of income because the party has collected more than 37 Crore Rupees from masses as a contribution in previous year 2016.

Pakistan People Party Parliamentarian (PPP-P) is the richest political party in terms of assets with a bank balance amount over than Rs. 200 Million and the party has a huge asset as compare to other political parties.

The statement of Election Commission of Pakistan also shows that Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf (PT-I) has the assets worth of PKR. 150 Million, but the party is the richest in expenditures which spent Rs364.2m; Out of this, an amount of Rs6.6m was spent on election campaigns, Rs2.5m on advertisements and over Rs2.8m on recreation. The party has bank balance of more than Rs119m.

The ruling party Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) has the asset worth of 30 Crore. But, it shows that the party has spent a double amount than its annual incomes.

While the Awami Muslim League is listed the poorest political party of the country having assets valuing a mere Rs. 138, 000.

This statement is based on the statements of assets submitted with political parties to the Election Commission of Pakistan for the year of 2016.
