Private Schools In Karachi, Sindh To Open On 11th August

Private Schools KarachiKarachi:  All government and private schools in Karachi will be open from 11th of August according to a statement of spokesperson of Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah. He also said while denying the reopening of schools from 3rd August that a notification has also issued regarding opening of schools few days ago.

Qaim Ali Shah’s spokesperson further added that strict action will be taken against those schools who will not follow the orders. However the statement emerged just after the reports that authorities will arrest those who will violate the orders as well as they will also face imprisonment for six months. [alert style=”white”] It is worth mentioning here that education secretary Fazlullah Pechuho also sent a notification to chief secretary on 30th July regarding postponement of summer holidays. [/alert] He requested in his proposal to close schools till 11th August due to the flood circumstances as most of the schools are filled by flood victims.

On the other hand, private school associations had also rejected extension in summer holidays on 31st July while claiming to take decision back otherwise they will reopen schools on 3rd August. In this regard, Chairman All Private Schools Management Association Sindh Khalid Shah requested to chief minister to dismiss the notification by saying that extension in summer holidays are useless.
