Qari Ghulam Rasool Dies In Lahore

Qari Ghulam RasoolLahore: World’s renowned famous Qari-e-Quran, Zeenat ul qurran, Qari Ghulam Rasool has passed away. He was born in 1935 and died on Sunday 9thmarch 2014, he was 80 years old and lived with 3 sons, 4 daughters and a wife. He got schooling from famous seminary Darsgah Hizbul Ehnaf and learned Qirat from Qari Abdul Malik and became idol of every Muslim through his spirituality, religiousness and God gifted talents.

The lifestyles and behavior of Maulvi Sahib were remarkably nice and slight. He had decent and inspiring personality. He never talked in anger and was very social. He dressed in very good, neat and clean and used to wear white shirt (Kurta) and Shalwar and a cap on his head. For cleaning teeth he used misvak regularly.

He was given with several awards as well as presidential award. He had narrated holy Quran at PTV and Radio Pakistan over and above 50 years. He also trained at Jamia Nizamia and later on recognized his own five madaris. He was closed to Shah Ahmed Noorani and Mualana Abdul Sattar Niazi.

Shah Ahmad Noorani born in 1926 and died in 2003, he was a Sunni divine and political leader in Pakistan. Shah Ahmad Noorani was once president of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA). Abdul Sattar Khan Niazi (October 1, 1915-May 2, 2001) was a holy and political leader of Pakistan. He was born at Isakhel in district Mianwali. He selected the Dean of Islamic Studies, after which he connected to active politics.

Qari Ghulam Rasool’s funeral would be held on Monday 10th march 2014 after Zohr prayers at Darul Quran New Garden Punjab. Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has conveyed deep sorrow and grief over the death of Qari Ghulam Rasool, news reportedly. Chief Minister prayed that may Allah Almighty grant him rest in peace, courage and strength to the members of the family to bear the big loss, in a condolence message.
