Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah told that new development schemes are introduced for Karachi in which construction of roads, flyovers and beautification of roads are included.
Murad Ali Shah said that Sindh government is doing work and making plain to upgrade Karachi and its rural areas regarding improving quality of ground water through irrigation system. Contaminated water big reservoir has accumulated into Manchhar Lake and we are working with World Bank, European donor and experts agencies to wash and refresh Manchhar Lake. So that could save future and past glory of Manchhar Lake.
He said that with passage of time contaminated water is spreading across Sindh due to lack of water purification system and carelessness owing to which government has to switch over RO plant to meet the need of drinking water in urban and rural areas.
The actual solution of this issue is to adopt scientific approach to improve its ground water quality through expert opinion and agencies.
Murad Ali Shah also stated that we want to upgrade education standard and schooling system of Sindh.
