SC has shown a very soft corner for those 28 MNAs and MPAs who were elected during by-polls after the 18th amendment in the constitution of Pakistan. Government has failed to adopt the 20th Amendment of the Constitution. Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry has also said while hearing the case that the court will have to order by-elections as unconstitutional, as 35 million bogus votes was in the old electoral lists if government is not succeeded in amending the constitution.
