According to him, the price of cement was Rs. 270 per bag in 2010, which was increased to Rs. 350 in 2011 and now has gone up another 85 rupees in 2012. This increase in price will seriously affect the building industry, which is already facing problems.  It will also negatively impact the individual buying power. Mr. Rahat further claimed that the cement manufacturers have formed a cartel and are producing only 60 to 70 percent
