Jalil-ur-Rehman was sitting with his friends near Nishat Cinema in Hyderabad when armed pillion riders approached him and fired him. Rehman was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital, Hyderabad but he was pronounced dead by doctors. Rehman was shot six times in the chest. Police reached the incident place and cordoned off the areas. People sitting around the incident place was terrorized by the gun fire. Rehman was former UC Nazim Jalil-ur-Rehman was also current joint sector in charge of Hyderabad Sector B.
