They have been removed from their Senate positions owing to the charge of holding fake degrees. Their nomination for particular seats and win over in the 2008 year held elections have held them incompetent. The two sisters, namely Ayla and Sumaira Malik have had changed their political associations previously.  Earlier being affiliated to former COAS and President’s political party, Pakistan Muslim League (Q), both of the ladies have left their membership.
