Bakraeid is just round the corner but the prices of cows and buffaloes are skyrocketing in Gaye Mandi, Karachi. As people have started visiting Gaye Mandi but they are unable to buy the sacrificial animals. Till now only rich and upper class have bought the sacrificial animals. Our reporter who went to Gaye Mandi located after Sohrab Goth has said that common and middle class people are only coming for adventure and not buying any sacrificial animals.It is expected that within a week prices of sacrificial animals will get down when thousand of more cows and buffaloes will enter the market.

Gaye Mandi and Bakra Mandi for Eidul Azha has been setup at the Super Highway, Karachi. Almost 1000 acres of land has been provided for the sacrificial animals. 200 VIP Tents will be installed in the market where big and costly animals will be placed. ATM will be installed in the market which will be functional for 24 hours. The cattle market is divided into two zones. Zone I is established on 700 acres for cows, buffaloes and camels. Zone II is established on 300 acres for goats. It is expected that the prices of sacrificial animals will remain high
