The fake degree holders include 50 members of Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N), 24 members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI),  PPP 12 members, Jamiat Ulema e Islam Federation (JUI-F) 4 while 2 independent candidates. The educational record of the respective parliamentarians is challenged in the court. According to the newspaper report details, there are over 100 lawmakers from various political parties alleged with the charged of holding fake degrees. Higher Education Commission (HEC) has received more than 100 fake degree of the parliamentarians
