Later the Punjab Police and Crimes Investigation Agency (CIA) recovered the necklace from a professional pickpocket Shakeel Jameel. According to police the suspect was caught from the information of their secret network of information as CCTV footages and witness accounts hardly helped the investigators in tracing the suspect.
