According to sources, Maleeha Lodhi showed positive response when Imran Khan offered her for PTI. Maleeha Lodhi was also remained high commissioner of Pakistan to England during Musharraf Era. Famous journalist Maleeha Lodhi was very close to military leadership when Musharraf came into power. She was also awarded Hilal-e-Imtiaz, in 2002. A well known English newspaper has confirmed her PTI joining news but no confirmed news about her joining date.
