Talking to media, he said that PML- Humkhayal will not merge in Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz. Commenting on Nawaz Sharif statement, he said that rather than demanding for apologies from each others, PML-N and PML-Q should think about country future. Mian Muhammad Asif said that party leaders must neglect personal interest. He said that if leaderships of PML-N and PML-Q will not ignore personal issue then Pakistan Peoples Party would defiantly win next General Elections.

Chairman of Standing Committee post was vacant after Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri’s joining of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI). Earlier, it was rumor that Imran khan offered Arbab Ghulam Rahim to join PTI. Currently, Arbab Ghulam Rahim is living in U.A.E as in self-imposed exile.
