Army Chief General Raheel Sharif not handles Social Media: ISPR

“COAS Gen Raheel Sharif is not maintaining any twitter or Facebook account”, tweeted the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Thursday morning. The statement came after Raheel Sharif took the charge of Chief of Army Staff, as Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani retired from his position on November 29. Several messages, status updates, welcoming words were upgraded through the accounts bearing Major Raheel’s name. Thus, the ISPR official stepped forward to clarify the false items. He termed all the accounts as fake. Since the army official had not been associated with social websites at any time.
