Fairly large deposits of this mineral have been found in different parts of Khairpur District (Sindh), Dera Ghazi Khan District (Punjab) & Dera Ismail Khan District (NWFP). Magnesite: Its deposits with reserves of about 30,000 tonnes occur near Nasai in Zhob District Balochistan. Low quality magnesite has also been reported from Sherwan area, Hazara District. At present, only the Zhob District magnesite is being exploited.
