By June 2001 about 1000 units of this industry were working on Pakistan having production capacity of rupees 1000 million. These units manufacture standard export oriented sports good, tennis rackets cricket bats and balls, hockey sticks and balls foot balls and gloves. These sport goods are exported to UK, US, Germany and other European countries.
 In 2000-01 this industry was manufacturing sports goods worth 10,000 million rupees and annually it is increasing @ 10% to 12%.
