Eid Special Trains Schedule Announced By Pakistan Railways

Pakistan Railways has announced to run four special trains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr to carry passengers from different cities. Anjum Pervaiz, General Manager of Pakistan Railways, announced that special trains will start their work from 6th August. The first special train will depart from Karaachi on 6th August at 11:00 AM and will reach Peshawar via Multan, Sahiwal and Raiwind. The second train will depart from Karachi on 7th August at 11:00 AM and will reach Lahore via Multan and Faisalabad. Third train will depart on 6th August from Quetta at 12:00 PM for Rawalpindi via Multan and Lahore

Pakistan Railway Needs Restructuring Not Privatization: Saad Rafique

Lahore: Federal Minister of Pakistan Railway Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that railways require restructuring. He also clarified that Privatization is not an Option. Only those people will remain in Railway who will work, he argued. Saad said that we will not accept corruption and only merit work will be accepted. The Recruitments in railway will be according to qualifications and no political influence will be accepted, Saad said. Saad Rafique announced that he will not take Incentives from Pakistan Railway. He said that I became Railway Minister after burning all boats; railway officers should also follow this.

Khawaja Saad Rafique Returns Protocol & Benefits

Federal Minister for Railways and PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has returned the police protocol and has also returned Toyota Land Cruiser which was used by former Federal Railways minister Ghulam Ahmad Bilour. Khawaja Saad Rafique while talking with media said that he will use only one car. PML-N leader Saad Rafique has also set up a vigilance cell to monitor the corruption and mismanagement in the ministry. Saad Rafique has directed all the officers of his ministry to reach office at 8:00 AM. He added that ‘Jihadi’ spirit is needed to turn the Raliway department into a profitable one
