Javed Hashmi Tells Who Was Behind PTI Islamabad Dharna

Karachi: Ex-president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Javed Hashmi has revealed that former ISI chief Gen Shuja Pasha was behind PTI’s Dharna in Islamabad. According to the details, Javed Hashmi said while talking in a talk show that Gen Pasha promised PTI to exile Nawaz Sharif, Khawaja Asif and Chaudhry Nisar at any cost. Former PTI leader also told during the show that Imran Khan was in contact with Gen Kayani and Gen Pasha on daily basis at the time of the PTI’s protest in Islamabad against government. He also said that PTI also directed its workers to bring Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif

Pakistan Government has submitted an 18 page reply to the Supreme Court of Pakistan in term of affidavit in memogate case. Government has said that memogate is a bundle of lies and is a fake document. Government of Pakistan said that Mansoor Ijaz has tried to pitch Pakistan’s institution against each other. Attorney General Maulvi Maulvi Anwar ul Haq submitted the reply on behalf of federation in the Supreme Court. Whereas Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and DG ISI Shuja Pasha have said to Supreme Court that the memogate scandal is authentic and it should be investigated.

Mansoor Ijaz, a Pakistani-American businessman who has become famous because of memo controversy has now said that ISI Chief Lt. General Shuja Pasha sought permission from some Arab countries to remove President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. This was claimed by Mansoor Ijaz in an article in British newspaper The Independent. “I was just informed by senior US intel that GD-SII Mr P asked for, and received permission, from senior Arab leaders a few days ago to sack Z. For what its worth,” Ijaz writes in a message on May 10 according to The Independent.
