In Balochistan, the language has two principal dialects, the Sulaimani, or the Eastern dialect prevalent in the Marri, Bugti, regions along the Sulaiman range, DG Khan in Punjab, and the adjacent area in Sindh, & the Makrani (also Saheli) or the Western dialect spoken in Kalat, Makran, Kharan and Chagai extending to parts of Iran and Afghanistan.
