The event was organised at the YMCA Ground by the Upleta Memon Association and Welfare Trust. Karachi Commissioner Roshan Ali Shaikh attended the mass wedding ceremony on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari and announced that the president would bear all the expenses of the ceremony.
