He belongs to constituency PP-223 (Sahiwal-IV). He is affiliated with right wing political party Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) led by Muhammad Nawaz Shareef. He has also been appointed at official positions in the past as a member of District Council Sahiwal in 1979 and 1983, as a Chairman Union Council Harappa in Local Government in 1968, and an MPA in Provincial Assembly of Punjab in 1970, as a Provincial Minister in Provincial Assembly of Punjab from 1985-1988, 1990, 1990-1997, 1999-2007.<\/p>}
