Immediate after the division of Punjab, the communal riots sprung out throughout Punjab. The extremists Hindus coupled with the Sikhs of Punjab started to kill the unarmed Muslims and to loot their property and wealth indiscriminately. The trains which were carrying the looted Muslims from India to Pakistan were burnt and looted and men, women, old and the children were slaughtered.<\/p>
