The story of the Pakistan Movement has to be read elsewhere. Here we are concerned only with the role that the Ulema played in it. Maulana Abul Ala Moudoodi’s careful analysis of the policies of the Muslim League opened many eyes. He manipulated policies of All India Muslim League in such a way that he managed to turn a number of Muslim away from Muslim League by calling Pakistan as Na-Pakistan.<\/p>
