There are several things which a sovereign cannot do; firstly, because he is a human being, and; secondly, because he has to deal with human beings. Gilchrist has called them “the limits of human endurance”, while Dicey has called them the internal limits, inasmuch as the arise from the very nature of the body or person exercising sovereignty.<\/p>
