The silk made by silk yarn obtained from silk worm is a rare commodity in Pakistan so no silk industry could be established in Pakistan. However artificial silk or synthetic silk mills have been set up in Pakistan. For these mills some artificial silK yarn is manufactured in Ravi Rayon Mills and Kala Shah Kaku Rayon Mills which is quite insufficient to provide raw material to artificial silk mills of Pakistan.<\/p>
