5 Biggest Issues In Eyes Of Pakistani Masses: IRI Survey

Islamabad: International Republic Institute (IRI) survey has termed power outage, inflation, poverty, terrorist activities and deteriorated law and order conditions as the five biggest posing issues of Pakistan. The survey conducted includes the statements and opinions of ordinary men. With prior problems varying, generally these fives issues seem as miseries to live of a common man.

Governance and the responsible authorities and institutions fall primary the victim of criticisms from the citizens. According to the details, still majority of people support the Pak army. While 81 % sees Pakistan to be heading towards undesirable weak situation.

[alert style=”white”] 42 % of people term power outage as the biggest issue, 21 % considers inflation as foremost, 12 % believe unemployment, and 10 % see terrorist activities while the rest 3 % people believing in stabilizing the poverty and deteriorated law and order conditions from the country. pakistan coverISI reports 10 % people contended with PML-N’s governance while 11 % are not happy with their performance. 23 % people consider Punjab government performance appreciable while 7 % people showed dissatisfaction. For KPK governance, there stand 9 % supporters while 8 % are not pleased with the party.

Majority of the people, constituting around 21 % of the population see PPP as bad governing body. Minimal percent ratios of 7 % support it. Baluchistan governance has win over only 6 % of the support as 12 % people are not admirers of the governing officials.

When it comes to solving the issues on priority basis, the percentage ratio falls as under:

  • 19 % poverty
  • 12 % unemployment
  • 8% get rid of terrorist activities
  • 3 % see maintenance of law, order conditions with alleviating the economic conditions.
