Lahore: Sindh government rejected the relief aid and help accessible by the Punjab Government for urgent help to the drought-hit people, especially the women and children of Tharparkar; sources told AwamiPolitics on Saturday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif stated that the Sindh government was delivered all kinds of comfort and assistance for drought-hit Tharparkar. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took serious notice on the food shortage and the death of children in Tharparkar on Friday.
In the meantime, Chief Justice of Pakistan Tassaduq Hussain Jillani had taken Suo Motu notice over the death of children due to the shortage of food and discomfort.
Relief teams of Pakistan Army have reached Mithi and Tharparkar to aid the drought affected people. According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) the army teams are serving the people getting medical treatment and diet.
