It is also saying that a team of intelligence agencyken money with themselves as they continued their operation for almost 45 minutes. They also took video statements from servants and personal assistant of Sharjeel Memon during the raid. However when intelligence agency’s team tried to contact Sharjeel Memon in this regard, his phone was switched off at that tome due to which team was unable to contact him. It is to remember that Information Minister was not presented during the raid time as he is in Dubai these days due to some work related to his party.
The 40-years old Minister raised his voice against the false news on his Twitter account while saying that there is no truth in this news and he will legal notice to dawn news for publishing such a fake news against him. He also told through his tweet that another newspaper named as “Jahan e Pakistan” also published the same news for which they have also apologized to him. Sharjeel Memon further added while criticizing media that Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) believes in the freedom of media but media is taking advantage of this and always tries to spread negativity against the party. He also said that he is all set to take action against media this time so that media will think for a while before spreading stories without evidences. [alert style=”white”]Media should apologize for spreading false information without any prove against me, as it is total dishonored acts of media thorough which people are getting wrong information, he added while speaking to a private news channel.[/alert]
Information Minister Sharjeel Memon has been associated with PPP since many years as has been serving as Information Minister since 2008. Mr. Sharjeel who is an Incharge PPP’s Media Cell Sindh has also elected as MPA in general elections 2013 from Tharparkar. He completed his engineering in civil from Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro and after which he received his Master degree in economics from University of Sindh.
