Public Holiday on 9th November 2015 (Iqbal Day) ?

Allama IqbalPublic holiday on 9th November has become question mark as news emerging on some media channels that no public holiday will be given on 9th November this year. According to the details, some media channels are claiming that government has decided not to give public holiday on 9th November which is a born day of national poet Allama Iqbal.

Several media sources are claiming that statement has been issued by Interior Minister in which it has said that all educational institutes and private offices will remain open on 9th November. However Interior Minister mentioned no reason behind the decision of not giving public holiday on birth anniversary of Allama Iqbal.

On the other hand, some sources in media are saying that public holiday will be given on 9th November just like every year. Therefore there are several news conflicts on media in this regard as no confirm news has appeared from any government source. The final decision will announce by government very soon after which confusion regarding public holiday will be cleared.

It is pertinent to mention here that government is used to hold public holiday on Iqbal day every year as he was a great poet, philosopher and politician of Pakistan of his time.
