PTI government has planned to generate revenue through taxes and duties. Pakistan Tehreek Insaaf (PTI) government has imposed numerous taxes. Present government performance during last year has increased risk for business and financial sector.
Many analyst has stated that present government is dependent upon sales tax, income tax and custom duty to collect additional revenue. Direct tax involve custom duty, sales tax, Federal Excise duty (FED) as well as tax impose on petroleum, gas and gas bills.
Taxes have been increased on everyday use commodities. Moreover cost of production has created negative impact on our competitive products in the global market.
