Aims And Objectives Of Pakistan Resolution

Despite the bottleneck mentioned above, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah reached Lahore to preside the Muslim League 27th session at the proper time. Maulvi Fazle Haque presented the Lahore Resolution in the session which was seconded by Chaudhry Khaliqua Zaman. The main points of this Resolution are given below:

a. The Muslim majority areas of India should be merged so that the Indian Muslims may have an area where they could establish their independent state.

b. The Muslims who are in minority in the independent units and areas, should be consulted with and their interests and objectives should be provided with the protection in the constitution.

c. Since the present constitution does not provide protection to the Muslim interests, it is not acceptable to the Indian Muslims at all.
