JI Successful in PK-95

Peshawar: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has won in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly’s constituency PK-95 Lower Dir as there was a tough competition between JI and ANP candidates. According to unofficial results JI’s candidate Malik Izaz has won by getting 9,812 votes. On the other hand, Malik Izaz’s competitor Bahadur Khan who belong from Awami Natioanl party (ANP) received 15,954 votes as turnout of 26% has emerged in the elections. However workers of both parties took part greatly in the elections by support their candidates. 85 polling stations were formed in the constituency for elections as 33 polling stations were declared sensitive. Katchi Abadis’ Problems to Be Solved On Priority Basis: JI

Lahore: Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, candidate from NA 126, has said the JI would solve the problems of the Katchi Abadis (slums) on priority basis.
