Sunni Tehreek (ST) Worker Killed In Karachi

Sunni TehreekKarachi: A worker of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek (ST) named as Meraj Mohammed has killed in Karachi on 18th September near New Karachi Industrial Area. According to the details, Meraj Mohammed attacked by the gunmen on motorcycle in Sector-16-B and then he took to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in a serious injuries where he could not stand over his injuries and stated dead by the doctors.

Gabol Town police told that Meraj Mohammed released from jail recently as three criminal cases were filed against him. A victim was 38 years old and was shot dead in an act of targeted killing by gunmen who were also on motorcycle at that time. In this regard, Pakistan Sunni Tehreek expressed grief sorrow over the death of their worker while saying that it was complete act of target killing. A spokesperson of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek told that Meraj Qadri had been caught by the defendants and was targeted after a chat.

It is pertinent to mention that Sunni Tehreek has declared a protest campaign against target killing in Karachi and told that rallies will be observed all across the country. While addressing to the press conference, leader of Sunni Tehreek, Muhammad Shakeel Qadri told that the main streets of Sindh and Punjab will be blocked as well as hunger strike will be held in front of the Press Club Karachi.
