There have been many cars in Karachi which are running on the roads and their number plates are displaying AFR (Applied For Registration). The number plate AFR is fake and is not allowed by government. Many cars can been seen with AFR – 2010, AFR – 2011 and AFR – 2012 number plates. But instead of stopping these number plates, many government cars are also carrying AFR – 2012 like number plates.
After every six to eight months Sindh Government starts a campaign against fake and fancy number plates, tinted glasses but they failed to finish it off properly. Any one can get these AFR number plates easily, any car owner can tint his cars glasses from the market.
It is now time that government takes strict action against all those car owners who are breaching the law.
