Mr Awais Qasim Khan is a politician in 16th Assembly of Punjab whose tenure spans from 2013 till date. He belongs to constituency PP-132 (Narowal-I) and is affiliated with PML (N) of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. His current official positions are that of a Member of Home Affairs, Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal. He is a famous politician who has earned his name by public service. He is also famous for social welfare activities. His association with PML (N) is as a devoted trustee.
Mr Awais Qasim Khan is an agriculturist by profession. He has always raised the issues pertaining to agricultural community at official doors. His hard work and ideas have solved many issues of his area. He belongs to an influential family altogether. Many of his relatives have served at official positions. His uncle Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar Khan had been an official in Provincial Assembly of Punjab twice from 1951-1955 and 1964-1969 and an official in National Assembly of Pakistan from 1985-1988, 1988-1990, 1990-1993, 1993-1996, and 1997-1999. His father’s name is Chaudhry Ghulam Ahmed Khan who has served Provincial Assembly of Punjab multiple times. He has also travelled to Saudi Arabia in 1997, to United Arab Emirates in 2000 and to United Kingdom in 1999 as private tours. He follows Islam as religion.
