SC also directed to IGs to provide complete report of proceedings in this case in the next hearing of the court. Court ordered to close all sheesha cafes located in Sindh and Punjab because they are destroying young generation as youngsters are getting addicted to drugs day by day. On the other hand, the bench also asked for a report on the ban of selling cigarette to teenagers.
Advocate General for Sindh Abdul Fatah Malik told that ban was imposed on sheesha cafes in 2011 but several sheesha cafes are still open in the provinces who are violating rules and regulations. It is pertinent to mention that sheesha cafes have become most desirable hangout spots of youngsters as there are several opened sheesha cafes in different public places. Government should take serious action against these drugs spot which are destroying our society.
