Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani Declines Route Protocol

Islamabad: Newly elected Chief Justice of Supreme Court (SC) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani has declined of accepting to the route protocol. Presenting reason, the CJ said that he does not want to create hurdle for the masses. Since following the protocol route would result in traffic jams and blockages of roads.

The sources however say that the new CH would enjoy the same security staff as the former Iftikhar Chaudhary. The Interior Minister earlier also offered the escorting services by Rangers and Elite Force personnel.  But Tassaduq Hussain refused to enjoy the security services by them also.

In Pakistan, while the masses are left to suffer the consequences despite weak security conditions in the country. Politicians, bureaucrats and high officials enjoy full security on government’s expenses.

Deployment of law enforcing staff in the services often results in killings of several, while they are on duty to escort the figures. Numerous have been attempted to murders and killings, many died while other survived.
